Nonviolent Schools RI is proud to announce their 2019 transformational Summer Institute

The Summer Institute will be an experience where educators join together to work on solutions to issues we all face, such as:

How to handle disruptive students, and violence in schools

Understanding conflict and our role in addressing them

How to teach ourselves and our students to de-escalate when we are angry

Creating a high-functioning, peaceful learning environment (in classrooms and schools)

Using Nonviolence Principles to create a Beloved (Peaceful) Community, according to Martin Luther King

Using restorative practices to repair relationships that have been harmed

Punitive vs. rehabilitative methods to address infractions

    And more!

If you are a school nurse, music/art/physical education/library/tech teacher we would love to have you join us at our Nonviolence training! We'll be addressing your specific needs as educators through our interactive, thought-provoking activities!
